6. UBC Format
The UBC UK three-round format - Round 1 on-line and Round 2 live semi-finals and the live Grand Final - is subject to change from year-to-year dependent upon the level of corporate sponsorship. While Learning Dynamics will use its best endeavours to gain sponsors' support, the level of sponsorship may be subject to change from year-to-year and therefore Learning Dynamics cannot guarantee the number of Round 2 semi-finals in any one year. Universities participate by entering teams in this full knowledge.
7. Travel Insurance
Learning Dynamics cannot be held responsible for travel costs in the event of any cancellation of any Round 2 semi-final and participating universities are advised to take out their own travel insurance when attending a Round 2 semi-final.
Universities attending the Round 3 Grand Final are also advised to take out their own travel insurance in the event that - for whatever circumstance - they need to make a claim against travel costs.
